We invite local specialists into our space to form a village of love and support for families in Durham Region. Prices vary depending on the course!
Our newborn classes are always FREE.
We are here to be a safe space when you want to get out of the house and meet other parents who are going through the same stage of life as you!
We invite local support into the classes to connect with our families and offer free talks and Q&A.
Our infant program is a blend of Montessori education, gross motor activities, musical instruments, and crafts.
We discuss different parts of parenting and education while allowing the little ones to explore a fully prepared classroom environment.
Our toddler programs are so much fun!
We love to engage our busy toddlers with Montessori materials, educational toys, sensory play, gross motor activities, music, dance, and art.
Our classes are perfect for socialization.

T H E L I T T L E N E S T
The Little Nest began in 2023 with educational playgroups designed to connect local families to the Montessori Method. Our classes provide a space for families with young children to find a sense of community and peaceful play in a prepared environment.
Community engagement was just the beginning. While playgroups will continue as an important part of what we do, we are expanding our work to include thoughtful, Montessori-inspired social media marketing services.
Meghan Ferguson is an AMI Casa Montessori directress, MACTE Elementary teacher, and a photographer who has worked in Durham Region for over a decade.
